Terms of Service

Last updated: April 30, 2026

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Teckel. By using Teckel, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.

Service

Teckel provides software for defining approved website actions, publishing agent-facing action metadata, installing the Teckel SDK, connecting destinations, testing readiness, and reviewing activity and analytics.

Teckel may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the service over time.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate account, organization, site, and billing information.
  • Configuring actions, fields, destinations, and integrations lawfully.
  • Obtaining rights and permissions for data submitted through Teckel.
  • Protecting credentials, API keys, and integration access.
  • Reviewing published actions before making them available to agents.
  • Ensuring their website disclosures and privacy practices cover their use of Teckel.

Acceptable Use

Customers may not use Teckel to:

  • Violate applicable law or third-party rights.
  • Collect sensitive data unless the customer has proper authority and Teckel has agreed to support that use case.
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, or security controls.
  • Interfere with service reliability or integrity.
  • Publish misleading, harmful, or unauthorized action workflows.

Customer Data

Customers retain ownership of their data. Teckel may process customer data to provide, secure, support, and improve the service, and as otherwise permitted by these terms or a separate written agreement.

Customers grant Teckel the rights needed to host, process, transmit, and display customer data for those purposes.

Teckel's handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Teckel Materials

Teckel owns the platform, software, documentation, SDK, designs, and service-related intellectual property. Subject to these terms, customers may use Teckel only for their internal business purposes and authorized website action workflows.

Integrations

Customers choose which third-party services to connect. Teckel is not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or how they process data after a customer configures delivery to them.

Fees

Paid plans, billing terms, renewals, taxes, and payment obligations are governed by the applicable order form, checkout terms, or written agreement.

Suspension And Termination

Teckel may suspend access if use of the service creates security risk, violates these terms, threatens service reliability, or is unlawful.

Customers may stop using Teckel at any time. Teckel may terminate access for material breach, non-payment, legal risk, or discontinuation of the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including customer responsibilities, fees owed, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

Disclaimers

Teckel is provided as available, except as expressly stated in a separate written agreement. Teckel does not warrant that agents, browsers, crawlers, or third-party services will discover, call, or complete any specific action.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teckel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill.

Teckel's total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amounts paid to Teckel for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if no amounts were paid.

Changes To These Terms

Teckel may update these terms from time to time. The updated terms will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of Teckel after the updated terms take effect means the customer accepts the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules.
